Pria Rai

As Senior Presenter of BBC Newsbeat, Pria leads the daily news on Radio 1, 1xtra and Asian Network. She's also featured across BBC News and is twice nominated as journalist of the year. A highlight of her work includes a special mental health programme with the Prince and Princess of Wales. More broadly, she uses her platform to tell stories of underserved communities. Pria is passionate about making the news accessible and relatable for all.
